Our Assessment

The promise is a Delhi-Rohtak RRTS service. The 2025-26 Budget records a study for a much shorter Bahadurgarh-Asoda metro line, not an approved Delhi-Rohtak rapid rail corridor. The 2026-27 Budget's approved Namo Bharat corridors are Delhi-Bawal and Delhi-Karnal, with no Delhi-Rohtak corridor listed. No approved-source evidence of full-corridor sanction, construction or service was found. Since central approval remains a material dependency and the term has not run its course, pending is more appropriate than stalled or broken.
