Original manifesto wording
“हम प्रदेश के प्रत्येक संभाग में आई.आई.टी. की तर्ज पर राजस्थान इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी स्थापित करेंगे।”
Our Assessment
The manifesto promised a Rajasthan Institute of Technology on IIT lines in every division. The July 2024 Modified Budget proposed a first phase that would upgrade engineering colleges in Bharatpur, Bikaner and Ajmer, with proposed expenditure of Rs 300 crore. A later Finance Department budget meeting notice included the three RIT proposals, showing administrative and budget preparation activity. However, these steps remain proposals and no approved source was found confirming that an RIT has become operational, while the first phase also covers only three locations rather than every division. Budget: A direct proposed outlay of Rs 300 crore was identified, but no verified sanction utilisation or operational expenditure was found.
