ManifestoWatch

About ManifestoWatch

A public-interest project for following election manifesto promises and the evidence connected to them.

What ManifestoWatch is

ManifestoWatch is an independent, non-partisan platform that records promises published in election manifestos and tracks their progress over time.

It brings promises, status assessments, and supporting public sources together so readers can examine what was promised and what evidence is available.

Why it exists

Election manifestos contain commitments that are often difficult to follow after voting ends. ManifestoWatch aims to make those commitments easier to find, compare, and revisit.

The same evidence standards are intended to apply regardless of party, candidate, government, or election.

How the work is done

Promise entries begin with official manifesto material wherever available. Statuses are then assessed using public evidence such as government documents, legislative records, institutional reports, and other credible sources.
