“We will increase the pension for widows and destitute women to Rs 1,500 per month.”
Partly delivered. The destitute-women/widow pension in Uttar Pradesh stands at Rs 1,000 per month (raised earlier from Rs 500), as per the state Women Welfare Department, and the beneficiary base has expanded substantially. However, this remains below the promised Rs 1,500 per month, which has not been implemented. Marked partial.
We will create a special board to implement welfare schemes for elderly saints, priests and purohits.
We will include delivery boys associated with e-commerce in various beneficial government schemes.
We will link all street hawkers and delivery boys associated with e-commerce to Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Yojana.
