Establish an AIIMS-like Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences in every division

The manifesto promised an AIIMS-like Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences in every division. Rajasthan enacted the Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jaipur Act, 2025, which establishes RIMS Jaipur as a body corporate and state university for advanced clinical services, medical education and research. The 2025-26 Budget provided Rs 500 crore for RIMS upgradation, and a further Rs 139.7 crore first-phase sanction for the RUHS-to-RIMS super-speciality upgrade was reported in July 2026. This directly delivers one institution with the promised objective, but no approved evidence shows RIMS institutions established in every division. Budget: Rs 500 crore was announced for RIMS in 2025-26 and Rs 139.7 crore was subsequently sanctioned for the first phase in Jaipur, while division-wide funding was not verified.
