A Senior Citizens Welfare Portal (SCWP) was launched on 2 May 2025 by the President of India as a one-stop digital platform for elderly citizens to access government schemes, healthcare and welfare services. This delivers a national senior-citizens portal, but its primary purpose is welfare-scheme access rather than the manifesto’s specific intent of a platform for elders to share stories, insights and knowledge. Related platforms (SACRED for re-employment, SAGE for eldercare products) also exist but serve different purposes.
