Our Assessment

high

Doorstep delivery of key services for seniors is operational and expanding: pensioners can submit their annual Jeevan Pramaan (digital life certificate) from home via postmen, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and the PSB Alliance Doorstep Banking platform (free for those aged 60+), and the EPFO Centralised Pension Payment System (effective 1 January 2025) allows pension withdrawal from any bank branch nationwide. The pledge to use the postal and digital network for seamless access to social security is being delivered, though coverage across all government services is still expanding. Partial.
