Our Assessment
The state semiconductor policy predates the election, but physical implementation after 2022 is clear. Central records identify the Dholera semiconductor fabrication project and manufacturing/assembly facilities in Gujarat. By September 2026, Micron's Sanand facility had begun commercial memory-chip production, while the Dholera fab was still progressing. This supports continuing industrial development, not a completed 'world hub' or verified lakhs of jobs.
