Our Assessment

Rajkot International Airport at Hirasar was inaugurated on 27 July 2023, and scheduled flight operations began on 10 September 2023. The Airports Authority of India recorded 11 flights and 2,546 passengers on its first operating day. The airport was therefore launched and serving passengers within the manifesto's 2023 deadline. This assessment credits operational launch; it does not claim every later permanent-terminal or international-route ambition is complete.
