Partial. The exact Goa Tourism Skill Development Mission name is not required where equivalent recurring and accessible tourism training is delivered. In May 2026, GTDC completed a Certified Storytelling Course with training in tourism fundamentals, hospitality, communication, Goan history and culture, guest engagement, trail design, nature interpretation and storytelling. The programme targeted local youth, aspiring tourism professionals and cultural ambassadors. Goa Tourism also confirms that nature guides assigned to Dudhsagar trekking groups were specially trained at the Forest Training School in Valpoi. These programmes provide substantive training for destination storytellers and nature guides. However, no approved evidence confirms a unified statewide mission conducting regular free programmes for all the promised categories, particularly guides at religious places, women-only guide cohorts and artisans working at village haats. The available sources also do not establish the frequency, statewide beneficiary coverage or that every course was provided free of charge. Status partial.
