The commitment requires a dedicated portal connecting Goan citizens with paid freelance or contract assignments from Government, quasi-government and private institutions, including opportunities to work from home and potentially progress into future employment. General employment exchanges, job fairs, government e-tender portals, private freelance marketplaces, skill-development pages, co-working spaces and remote-work tourism initiatives are not equivalent to this citizen-facing contract-work marketplace. No approved government source found confirms notification, development or launch of such a portal, registration of Goan freelancers, publication of assignments, institutional participation, payments or completed freelance engagements. We will introduce Goa Tourism Skill Development Mission to conduct regular skill development programs under the Ministry of Tourism to train destination guides, guides at religious places, women guides, artisans at village haats free of cost.
We will establish Job Cafes in both districts that will have separate co-working spaces with new-age digital infrastructure.
To ensure the Goan youth are employment ready in the new age scenar-io, we will introduce skill development courses including courses on advanced manufacturing and machine learning among others to meet the demands of Industry 4.0 across Goa.
