Goa Forest Development Corporation developed a Butterfly Garden within the Botanical Garden at Salaulim. The official facility includes curated butterfly host plants providing food, shelter and breeding habitat, a shallow water pond supplying water and minerals and educational signage covering butterfly species, life cycles, habitats and conservation. Its stated objectives include butterfly conservation, visitor education, community engagement and nature-based visitor experience. Contemporary reporting confirms that the associated Medicinal Herbal Garden and Butterfly Garden development was inaugurated in January 2025, after the election. The manifesto prescribed no particular district, garden size or species target. Status fulfilled.
