“We will launch a mission similar to Namami Ganga for cleaning and maintaining all the rivers of Goa.”
Partial. The exact Namami Ganga-style programme name is not required where an equivalent coordinated river-conservation mission is implemented. Goa Budget 2024-25 launched Nadi Parikrama - Ugam Se Sangam with a specific provision of Rs 5 crore. Its components include study of river sources, river-health monitoring, nature trails, drone documentation, conservation work and expert support from institutions such as the National Institute of Oceanography. The same Budget listed a Rs 9 crore River Sal rejuvenation programme scheduled for completion in January 2025. These are substantive post-election river-monitoring and rejuvenation measures. However, no approved evidence confirms a single operational cleaning and maintenance mission covering every river in Goa, completed river-wise action plans or implementation across the entire river network. Status partial.
Goa announced Nadi Parikrama - Ugam Se Sangam with Rs 5 crore and a separate Rs 9 crore rejuvenation project for River Sal.

To ensure the proper disposal of bio-medical waste produced in the state, we will enhance the capabilities of existing Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Plants, to ensure it is prepared to meet future demands.
To create a value chain for garbage, provide employment to local youth and also solve Goa's garbage pile-up issue, we will introduce the Goa Mu-nicipal Waste Management and Disposal Policy on the lines of sustain-able development goals.
