Original manifesto wording
“हम बाड़मेर, जालौर और जोधपुर अनार बेल्ट में नए प्रोसेसिंग क्लस्टर्स स्थापित करेंगे।”
Our Assessment
The manifesto promised new pomegranate-processing clusters across the Barmer, Jalore and Jodhpur pomegranate belt. The July 2024 Modified Budget proposed a pomegranate processing plant at Balotra with private-sector participation, but this is not verified as an operating cluster and does not cover all three promised districts. No approved post-election source was found showing that new clusters are operational in the promised belt. Budget: No approved outlay, sanction or utilisation evidence specifically for new pomegranate clusters in Barmer, Jalore and Jodhpur was found.
Promise Timeline
The Modified Budget proposed one pomegranate processing plant in Balotra with private-sector support; no operating three-district cluster was verified.
