Our Assessment

Coastal resilience is being pursued through coastal-protection and shoreline-management works, the Enhancing Coastal and Ocean Resource Efficiency (ENCORE) programme, mangrove restoration (MISHTI - Mangrove Initiative for Shoreline Habitats and Tangible Incomes), and Coastal Regulation Zone management. However, a dedicated comprehensive coastal master plan as specifically pledged is at an early stage. Partial, low confidence.
