What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will promote Bharat’s exports through international cooperation, infrastructure development and simplification of laws.”
Our Assessment
Exports are being actively promoted: India’s merchandise and services exports have grown (merchandise exports rising to about USD 38 billion in a single month in late 2025, led by engineering goods, electronics, pharmaceuticals and petroleum products, with services exports at record levels), supported by free-trade agreements, the Export Promotion Mission (Rs 25,060 crore, approved November 2025), RoDTEP, e-commerce export hubs and trade-facilitation reforms. As an ongoing promotional commitment without a single defined target, it is being pursued continuously. Partial.
