Recruitment Board to fill all posts within six months
Indian National Congress · Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2022

What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“A Recruitment Board will be set up to ensure all posts are filled within six months of the advertisement.”
Our Assessment
The structural part of this promise was delivered: after dissolving the scandal-hit Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission in February 2023 following a paper-leak case, the government notified a new recruitment body, the Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog. However, the operative commitment of filling all posts within six months of advertisement has not been achieved: recruitment was badly disrupted by the paper-leak fallout and transition to the new body, and overall hiring has lagged. Marked partial: the board exists, but the six-month filling guarantee is unmet. Budget: recruitment body operational.
Promise Timeline
