Buy cow dung at Rs 2/kg and make vermicompost at panchayat level

Evidence correction, reviewed 29 September 2026. The earlier pending assessment missed documented procurement activity. ABP's 30 December 2024 report described an initial programme involving 100 farmers across ten districts, purchasing prepared manure at Rs 3/kg rather than raw dung at the promised Rs 2/kg. A 23 December 2025 state release also identified cow-dung purchasing among government initiatives. This supports limited implementation, but does not verify a statewide raw-dung purchase entitlement or vermicompost facilities at every panchayat.
