A Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express was flagged off in May 2023, meeting the faster premium-train objective, but I did not verify an actual Tejas Express inauguration on this route. Scheme/train name differs and the faster rail intent is partly delivered, but the promised Tejas Express itself is not verified. Budget: Rail service delivery verified; no Tejas-specific budget isolated.
We will stimulate local economic development and enhance basic services in Rural Uttarakhand through the expansion of the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Cluster Program from the current 6 clusters to a total of 10 clusters.
We will create a Panchayat Level Infrastructure Development Program and give ₹ 1 Crore over 5 years for infrastructure spending as deemed necessary by the panchayats.
Establish robust waste disposal systems in every village in association with the Swachh Bharat Mission.
