The Union Cabinet approved the Sonprayag-Kedarnath ropeway and a concession/award process has progressed, but the ropeway is not operational. Approval and award-level progress is substantial but does not equal completed construction. Budget: Cabinet-approved cost: ₹4,081.28 crore.
We will stimulate local economic development and enhance basic services in Rural Uttarakhand through the expansion of the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Cluster Program from the current 6 clusters to a total of 10 clusters.
We will create a Panchayat Level Infrastructure Development Program and give ₹ 1 Crore over 5 years for infrastructure spending as deemed necessary by the panchayats.
Establish robust waste disposal systems in every village in association with the Swachh Bharat Mission.
