“To ensure that adequate health infrastructure is available for the use of the women of Uttarakhand, we will increase the number of female hospitals from the current 6 to 13 and all district hospitals of the state will be equipped with 24x7 neonatal facilities in a phased manner.”
Female/district hospital service structures and neonatal care through SNCU/NBSU/NBCC frameworks exist, but I did not verify an increase from 6 to 13 female hospitals or 24x7 neonatal facilities in every district hospital. Related maternal and newborn-care infrastructure is present, but both scale commitments—13 female hospitals and every-district 24x7 neonatal facilities—remain unverified. Budget: NHM maternal/child health support exists; no 13-female-hospital expansion allocation isolated.
BJP manifesto promised: To ensure that adequate health infrastructure is available for the use of the women of Uttarakhand, we will increase the number of female hospitals from the current 6 to 13 and all district hospitals of the state will be equipped with 24x7 neonatal facilities in a phased manner.
