Common effluent treatment projects exist/planned for industrial areas such as Kashipur, Rudrapur, Haridwar and Sitarganj, but a post-2022 three-district ETP rollout including Dehradun is not verified. Industrial-effluent treatment progress exists in relevant industrial districts, but the promised three-district package is incomplete/unclear. Budget: No three-district ETP allocation isolated.

We will conserve and sustain the natural beauty and capacity of the springs, ponds, and chaal khal of rural Uttarakhand by creating a program of community-led spring and pond management initiative.
We will construct water treatment plants in the cities of Haldwani, Dehradun and Haridwar in order to ensure regular supply of potable water to all households.
