The Paonta Sahib-Ballupur/NH-7 upgrade is substantially underway/open in sections, and a linked 12 km Dehradun bypass had 44% physical progress in April 2026 with completion expected by April 2027. Work is real and advanced, but the project was not fully completed at the time of verification. Budget: PIB reports ₹716 crore for the 12 km greenfield bypass component; the wider corridor has larger reported costs.
