“An Urban Infrastructure Development Fund to fund and facilitate high impact infrastructure projects in all urban areas of the state.”
The promise was a dedicated Urban Infrastructure Development Fund for high-impact projects in all urban areas. I did not find evidence of a separately named state fund. However, the substance is partly met through major funded urban infrastructure vehicles: PIB reported a $200 million ADB loan for Uttarakhand urban water, sanitation, urban mobility and public services; TOI later reported a Rs 264.5 crore central incentive for housing and urban development reforms, including old-area redevelopment and ULB income measures. These are real urban infrastructure funding channels, but not the promised statewide named fund covering all urban areas. Budget status: related urban infrastructure funding is verified, but not the exact dedicated fund.
