“We will establish three Centres of Excellence for kiwis, walnuts and apples in the state.”
The state has taken horticulture policy steps for kiwi and apple, and PIB reported central support for high-density apple orchards, kiwi and dragon fruit cultivation plus approval for Centres of Excellence for superfoods such as honey, mushrooms and exotic vegetables. But I did not verify three Centres of Excellence specifically for kiwi, walnut and apple. Budget status: related horticulture support exists, but no three-centre delivery allocation found.

We will expedite the construction of the Centre of Excellence for Himalayan Fibres at Almora.
We will set up a Public Food and Drug Testing Laboratory in collaboration with pharma and food majors.
