Tap water connectivity for all households

The promise was universal tap water connectivity for all households. A July 2025 Rajya Sabha answer said Uttarakhand reported 14.14 lakh of 14.49 lakh rural households with tap water supply as on 22 July 2025, or 97.63 percent, and that the state planned 100 percent FHTC coverage by December 2025. This is strong progress but not fulfilled on the latest approved-source figure found because the verified count is below 100 percent and the answer itself acknowledges remaining deprived households.
