“1,000 electric buses to enable sustainable transport and improve the overall quality of living.”
The promise was quantified: 1,000 electric buses. I found approved-source evidence of urban mobility funding under the Uttarakhand Livability Improvement Project, including a pilot of electric buses in Haldwani, and a 2026 report where the CM said electric buses would soon be added to the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation fleet. But I did not find verified deployment, procurement, or budget for anything close to 1,000 electric buses. A pilot or future intent is not enough for on_track against this large numeric target. Budget status: related urban mobility funding exists, but no promise-specific 1,000 electric bus allocation found.
Times of India reported 100 new non-electric buses added to UTC and the CM saying electric buses would soon be added.
