“The punishment against those involved in the drug trade will be increased and all cases against those involved in drug trade will be tried in special fast track courts.”
The promise was to increase punishment for drug trade and try all drug-trade cases in special fast-track courts. I found evidence of ANTF strengthening and enforcement directions, but not of a state legal change increasing punishment for drug trade or a notified system of special fast-track courts for all such cases. The verdict is pending because enforcement activity is not the same as the promised punishment/court architecture. Budget status: no special-court allocation found.
