Uttarakhand already has UCDF/Aanchal and milk unions, and the Dairy Development Department states that it promotes and strengthens milk co-operative societies. UKCDP and dairy-sector pages describe cooperative dairy support, milk procurement, value addition, and Aanchal branding, while PIB in 2025 recorded NABARD approval of Rs 4,821.20 lakh for modern dairy processing units at Sitarganj. This shows real dairy-cooperative and processing-sector support, but not the promised Rs 500 crore corpus, not dairy co-operatives in every block, and not one collection centre in every village. Budget: related dairy infrastructure funding exists, including the 2025 NABARD/RIDF allocation, but the promised Rs 500 crore corpus was not verified.
