Cancer-care infrastructure has advanced through the State Cancer Institute at Haldwani, for which a Rs 103.6565 crore project was approved and Rs 69 crore released earlier. The central cancer-care scheme uses a hub-and-spoke model that supports district hospitals and medical colleges. But I did not verify an Uttarakhand Cancer Care Program with affordable cancer-care centres in every district. This is partial because a hub project exists, not full district-level coverage. Budget status: Haldwani State Cancer Institute project funding is verified.
