Drug-peddler property seizure for rehab funding
All movable and immovable properties of convicted drug peddlers including houses and vehicles will be seized and used to fund drug rehabilitation facilities.

The promise was to institute a task force to implement zero tolerance of drugs. TOI reported in 2026 that the Uttarakhand Anti-Narcotics Task Force was formed in 2022 and that the cabinet approved 22 permanent posts for it; TOI also reported in 2025 that the CM directed the Anti-Narcotic Task Force to take strict action and strengthen enforcement under the Drug Free Uttarakhand resolve. The verdict is fulfilled for the task-force creation and zero-tolerance enforcement mechanism, though not for the separate courts/property-seizure promises below. Budget status: permanent posts were approved for the ANTF; no rupee figure was reported.
