Uttar Pradesh has expanded vocational training and ITI infrastructure — vocational-education funding rose sharply in the 2026-27 budget, with AI labs announced in ITIs — but a separately-branded 'Vishwakarma Technical Upgradation Programme' with a Rs 2,500 crore outlay and an ITI in every block is not confirmed under that name.
