As of early 2026 there is no credible confirmation that a separately-branded 'Mukhyamantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana' with a Rs 5,000 crore outlay was launched under that name. Comparable irrigation support for small and marginal farmers is delivered through adjacent UP schemes — minor-irrigation boring subsidies for shallow/medium/deep tube wells, the Khet Talab farm-pond subsidy, solar pumps under PM-KUSUM, and free electricity for private tube wells — so the substance is partly addressed, though the specific branded scheme and budget remain unverified.
