Our Assessment
Reviewed 29 September 2026. UPEIDA records the 594 km Ganga Expressway's inauguration on 29 April 2026 and lists it as operational, alongside the Bundelkhand and Gorakhpur Link expressways. The previous note describing Ganga only as an active project is outdated. This is substantial delivery within the five-project commitment. Retained as partial because the evidence reviewed does not establish completion of the entire named package, which also includes Kanpur-Lucknow and Ballia Link. The five-year term is still running; incomplete verification is not treated as a missed final deadline.
