The manifesto promised women’s representation through 35 percent reservation in government jobs, 35 percent in police and 50 percent in teacher recruitment. Akashvani reported the Madhya Pradesh notification reserving 35 percent of posts under the state, except the Forest Department, for women at direct recruitment, and also reported the Chief Minister’s announcement that 35 percent of vacancies in police and other government jobs would be filled by women. This supports a major part of the promise. However, the same approved-source evidence found in this pass did not verify the 50 percent teacher-recruitment component, and the article also referred to an earlier 30 percent police reservation context. The verdict is partial because the 35 percent state-service reservation is evidenced, but not all promised sub-components are fully verified. Budget: this is a reservation and recruitment-rule promise, not a budget-spend promise; no utilisation figure applies.
