Timely crop-loss relief under PMFBY

The manifesto promised timely assessment of crop loss and relief distribution under PM Fasal Bima Yojana. PMFBY is active, and PIB reported a 2025 digital transfer event under which Madhya Pradesh farmers were to receive Rs 1,156 crore in crop-insurance claims. PIB also records implementation reforms intended to improve transparency, coverage and timely settlement of claims. This supports ongoing delivery of the claim-relief framework. However, the approved sources found in this pass do not audit whether every MP crop-loss assessment and payment was timely. The verdict is ongoing because PMFBY relief delivery is active, with the timeliness element treated as a continuing-monitoring condition. Budget: PMFBY is a funded government crop-insurance scheme, but MP-specific utilisation against all claims was not fully audited in this pass.
