Organic and natural farming clusters

The manifesto promised organic and natural farming clusters to make Madhya Pradesh a leader in organic farming. The National Mission on Natural Farming was launched as a centrally sponsored scheme with a target of 15,000 clusters across 7.5 lakh hectares, a Rs 2,481 crore outlay and one crore farmers. MP government publicity also shows state-level encouragement of natural and organic farming, and a district success story refers to National Mission on Natural Farming support and a Rs 5,000 per hectare per year incentive. These are relevant official implementation channels. However, no approved-source evidence was found for Madhya Pradesh-specific cluster counts sufficient to show leadership or full fulfilment of the manifesto promise. The verdict is partial because official natural-farming cluster architecture and MP promotion exist, but state-level delivery at the promised ambition is not verified. Budget: NMNF has a Rs 2,481 crore national outlay, but MP-specific utilisation was not found.
