mediumWomen Help Desks (the central scheme equivalent of the manifesto’s "Shakti Desks"), supported by the Nirbhaya Fund, have been expanded widely: 14,658 Women Help Desks have been set up in police stations, of which 13,743 are headed by women police officers, making stations more approachable for women. Expansion of the desks is evident; the second part of the pledge (timely investigation and resolution of issues) relates to outcomes that are harder to verify. Partial.
