India retains a strong vaccine- and biopharma-manufacturing base (a leading global vaccine producer), and support continues through the National Biopharma Mission, the BioE3 Policy, PLI schemes for pharmaceuticals, and platforms for rapid vaccine development demonstrated during COVID-19 (Made-in-India vaccines). Efforts to expand production/distribution and shorten development timelines are ongoing rather than tied to a single completed deliverable. Partial.
We will strengthen our traditional means including Yoga and Meditation, and also enhance the scope and coverage of mental health initiatives like Manas and Manodarpan.
We will strengthen the efforts being made to increase the training capacity for paramedics, technicians, pharmacists and nurses.
We will intensify existing efforts to ensure elimination of TB, Leprosy, Lymphatic Filariasis, Measles and Rubella, Trachoma, and Kala Azar by facilitating timely testing and access to medicines.
