Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (the renamed Health and Wellness Centres) number over 1.7 lakh nationwide, delivering comprehensive primary healthcare including non-communicable disease screening, teleconsultation (eSanjeevani) and free essential drugs/diagnostics, with package functionality being progressively expanded and district hospitals/secondary centres upgraded under PM-ABHIM. Strengthening is ongoing across the network. Partial.
We will strengthen our traditional means including Yoga and Meditation, and also enhance the scope and coverage of mental health initiatives like Manas and Manodarpan.
We will strengthen the efforts being made to increase the training capacity for paramedics, technicians, pharmacists and nurses.
We will encourage and extend support to Bharatiya vaccine manufacturers and biopharma companies in various capacities to boost production and distribution and aim to reduce our timeline for vaccine manufacturing.
