“We will launch a Krishi Infrastructure Mission for integrated planning and coordinated implementation of agri-infrastructure projects like storage facilities, irrigation, grading and sorting units, cold storage facilities, and food processing among others.”
A scheme by the exact name "Krishi Infrastructure Mission" has not been separately launched. However, the integrated agri-infrastructure intent is being pursued through the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (Rs 1 lakh crore financing facility for post-harvest and community farming assets) and, more directly, the new PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana launched on 11 October 2025 (Rs 24,000 crore), which converges multiple schemes across 100 low-productivity districts to build post-harvest storage, irrigation and other infrastructure. The coordinated-planning objective is partly delivered through these vehicles rather than a dedicated mission of this name. Partial.
