Our Assessment
Measures to honour and ease compliance for honest taxpayers continue under the Transparent Taxation - Honoring the Honest platform, including faceless assessment and appeals, the Taxpayers’ Charter, pre-filled returns, faster automated refunds and updated-return facilities, complemented by the simplified new Income-tax Act, 2025. As an open-ended, largely qualitative commitment, it is being acted on through ongoing administrative measures rather than a single completable deliverable. Partial.
