What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will launch an initiative to foster balanced regional development across all districts of the country. Brand, promotion and exports of One District One Product (ODOP) products will be encouraged under the initiative.”
Our Assessment
The One District One Product (ODOP) initiative is being promoted to encourage district-level products, branding and exports, integrated with PM GatiShakti district master-plan portals being rolled out nationwide, GeM and Districts as Export Hubs, and showcased at a dedicated PM GatiShakti-ODOP experiential centre at the ITPO Complex in New Delhi. Coverage of products across districts is expanding, but a fully realised, measurable balanced-development outcome is still in progress. Partial.
