₹10 Lakh Family Health Cover and Senior Citizen Benefit

This merged promise has two linked components: ₹10 lakh of free treatment for every family and a separate ₹5 lakh benefit for each family member aged above 70. Delivery is assessed through the existing CHIRAYU and Ayushman Bharat architecture because it matches the promised cashless-treatment objective even though programme labels differ. Haryana's official 2026–27 estimates still describe the general CHIRAYU entitlement as ₹5 lakh per family per year, not the promised ₹10 lakh. Separately, the Ayushman Bharat senior-citizen expansion is operating in Haryana for people above 70, and reporting states that 26,513 elderly patients had received treatment against ₹53.57 crore in claims. The combined promise is therefore partial: the senior-citizen component is substantively delivered, but the central family-cover quantum remains half of the promised amount and is not universal for every family. Budget: The 2026–27 CHIRAYU outlay is ₹950 crore; public hospitals reported ₹299 crore of Ayushman treatment expenditure in 2025–26, but this is not a complete scheme-utilisation figure.
