What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will promote 2 Agro-Industrial Corridors in Saurashtra to make the agricultural supply chain more cost-effective.”
Our Assessment
The Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation issued a July 2025 tender for a feasibility study of the two promised Agro-Industrial Corridors in Saurashtra. This is direct progress on project preparation, but the sources reviewed do not establish approved routes, construction, operational units or lower logistics costs. The two-corridor commitment is Partially Done.
The reasoning behind the verdict
Why this assessment?
Reviewed
01 · Delivery status
Why partially done?
In July 2025, Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation issued a bid to study the feasibility of two Agro-Industrial Corridors in Saurashtra, including possible special assistance for units in the corridors. This is a specific post-election step toward the promised two corridors. It does not by itself establish route approval, construction, operating units or lower supply-chain costs. Because the two-corridor project has progressed to formal feasibility work but delivery is not yet verified, it is assessed Partially Done.
The numerical target is two corridors. The 2025 GAIC tender establishes feasibility work, but no comparable count of completed or operational corridors was verified; the target is recorded without a completion bar.
02 · Strength of evidence
Why medium confidence?
The GAIC bid names the exact number, sector and Saurashtra location, so the planning link is direct. Confidence is Medium because subsequent approvals, investment, construction and operational results are not established.
What would help us reassess?
The documents that could clarify delivery of this commitment.
- Approved route and district alignment for each of the two corridors
- Completed feasibility reports, government approvals and funded implementation plans
- Contracts, built infrastructure and operating agro-industrial units in each corridor
- Evidence of reductions in agricultural logistics or supply-chain costs
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes the evidence.
