Our Assessment
The Governor's February 2026 address confirms continuing raw-ration kits under Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana for the first 1,000 days, with ₹156 crore spent in 2025–26. Take-home rations and tribal maternal meals also operate. This is substantial delivery under equivalent schemes. Full fulfilment still requires evidence that all promised poor/EWS pregnant and lactating women receive the complete monthly protein, fat and micronutrient package throughout the period; spending and registrations alone do not prove that continuity.
