The ₹1,000 monthly nutritional benefit is implemented through Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana, and state data report payments to 92,921 TB patients in 2025. However, Gujarat registered 1,31,801 TB patients that year, so the 2025 TB-free outcome was not achieved. Financial support and continuing treatment are meaningful delivery, while the time-bound disease-elimination commitment failed. The two components are tracked separately.
