What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We aim to make Gujarat the AYUSH Hub of India and establish 4 state-of-the-art Institute of Traditional Medicine with the Global Centre for Traditional Medicine, Jamnagar being the central node. Under this, we will: • Establish Ayurveda Research and Development centres across all major cities”
Our Assessment
Jamnagar has established Ayurveda research institutions, including ITRA and the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre's developing research role. This is relevant capacity, but much of the institutional base predates the manifesto. Reviewed records do not establish a newly operating Ayurveda research-and-development centre network across Gujarat's major cities. Existing colleges or national centres outside Gujarat cannot be counted as that city-level network.
The reasoning behind the verdict
Why this assessment?
Reviewed
01 · Delivery status
Why partially done?
Jamnagar research capacity is relevant; the wider major-city network is unverified.
02 · Strength of evidence
Why medium confidence?
Identifiable delivery or administrative action is documented, but full scope or coverage remains unverified.
