What does this status mean?
The term is active and there is no evidence of action or reversal.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will expand the use of air ambulances in the 14 tribal-dominated districts of Gujarat to enable faster emergency medical services.”
Our Assessment
Gujarat's air-ambulance service began in March 2022, according to the operator's report, before this manifesto. That baseline service is relevant but does not establish the promised subsequent expansion across 14 tribal-dominated districts. No post-election tribal-district coverage, additional deployment, evacuation-volume or response-time register was verified. Ground mobile health units cannot substitute for air-ambulance access, and the existence of an aircraft does not prove usable emergency service in every intended district. The expansion remains Pending with Low confidence pending operational evidence.
The reasoning behind the verdict
Why this assessment?
Reviewed
01 · Delivery status
Why pending?
A pre-election air-ambulance service exists, but a matching post-election expansion serving all 14 tribal districts has not been verified.
02 · Strength of evidence
Why low confidence?
The operator establishes the baseline launch; district-level expansion and actual evacuation evidence remain unavailable.
What would help us reassess?
The documents that could clarify delivery of this commitment.
- Post-2022 deployment, airbase and landing-site coverage across the 14 districts
- District-wise emergency evacuations, response times and service availability
- Funding and service contracts identifying the expansion beyond the March 2022 baseline
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes the evidence.
