The promise is to establish two new medical colleges through public-private partnership or an equivalent delivery model that creates two additional medical colleges and expands the supply of trained medical professionals. Goa Budget 2023-24 announced a medical college at South Goa District Hospital. The subsequent official action-taken report stated that this medical college remained under consideration by the government. No approved evidence found confirms establishment, approval, tendering, construction or operation of two new medical colleges, whether in PPP mode or through another equivalent model. Status pending.
To commemorate the role of teachers in building societies, we shall intro-duce the "Vasishtha Guru Puraskar" which will be awarded to 15 teach-ers, with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh every year and they will be supported by the state for further training abroad.
We will expeditiously fill all vacant teaching posts in all government edu-cational institutions.
We will undertake half-yearly taluka level teacher training workshops to improve teaching skills as envisioned by NEP 2020.
